Essay 6: Review of the first episode of a American or British TV drama

 Will is a new teacher at McKinley high school and he hoped to be an advisor of the glee club, but glee club has no members.

He decided to gather new members, but there are only five people who are Rachel, Mercedes, Cart, Tina, Archy. They are very unique. Glee is a chorus club but Tina has a stutter. Will started to guide hard, but they didn’t respond to his expectations.

One day, Will listened to a voice “Can’t Fight This Feeling”. It was Finn, who was a member of the American football club and he decided to get Fin to join the glee club. He prepared a drug in Fin’s locker and he found it and he could get advantage of his weakness. Glee’s members were glad about it and they sang “You’re The One That I Want” but Fin wasn’t enthusiastic.

They went to inspect to the Carmel high school which is the strong contestant school and they are enemy in the tournament.

Their performance was overwhelming and glee’s members were stunned.

And Will is not well with Terry who is his wife. He was said from her that he quit being a teacher and he become certified public accountant to get more income.

Moreover they got a baby in Terry, so he decided to quit being a teacher.

Also, Fin worried to quit the glee club because he was bullied by the members of the American football club, but he decided to continue with the club.

At that time, Emma showed a movie to Will when he became a champion when he was a high school student. He worried again about that he continues to be a teacher or becomes certified public accountant for Terry and their baby.

Such time he heard to the voice “Don’t Stop Believin’’” from Auditorium.

He watched it and he decided to continue to be a teacher.
I want to continue to watch this drama.

Essay 5: My perfect vacation

University students have a long summer vacation. I like to go to the beach, so I want to go there a lot of times and go to Okinawa in the summer. And I want to go Osaka too. I want to have two nights and three days in each trip.

First, I will go to Osaka by shinkansen with my boyfriend. Day 1, we will go to the Universal Studio Japan. We wear the cap of a character. I want to wear to minion's hut and I want to drink butter beer in the Harry Potter section. Day 2, we will go abenoharukasu which is the highest building in Japan and climb the observatory to the top. At night, we want to go some Izakaya and drink a lot. On the last day, I want to eat Japanese-style pancake and Octopus pancake. There is one of the famous foods in Osaka. I have never been there and this is my first time to go to the trip with him, so I can't wait!

Next, I will go Okinawa with my university friends. I had been there twice when I was an elementary school student and a junior high school student, but I have never gone to the beach there. Day 1, we will rent a car all day and go around the Okinawa island. I want to go to the aquarium. Day 2, we will go to the Kouri beach. This is the most pleasant thing in this trip. I want wear the same swimsuit that have colors that are different, and take a lot of beautiful and funny pictures. Last day, we will go Kokusaidouri to buy a lot of gifts. My most favorite gift is Chinsukou which tastes like “white snow milk” is the best.

Back in Kumamoto, I want to go to the beach many times and tan my skin more!

This is the perfect summer vacation that I imagine.

Essay 4: My self introduction 2036

It is 2036 and I am 41 years old. After I graduated the university, I started to work in this company what I wanted to work for and I continue this job still now. So I am very busy from wake up to sleep every day, but I have my rule that I must cook to lunch box every day in the morning. When I was 25 and 27 years old, I stopped to work because I had to do children care for a year.

My husband is the same age and he is very kind and is a very good guy. I met him when I was a senior student in the university. We had many troubled and we had fighting when we were young but it was very beautiful memory for us.

We got married when we were 24 years old. We have two children. My son is 16 years old, and a daughter is 14 years old. They play tennis, so I teach them in every Saturday. They are very good tennis players. My daughter already decided the high school to go next spring for tennis. My husband never plays tennis since we were married but he started to play tennis with our children. So, he and I sometimes join a tennis tournament with him.

We live in Fukuoka because my husband works there. I didn't want to leave Kumamoto because I love Kumamoto and I think there is the very good education environment. But Fukuoka is very useful because we can go to many places and go shopping. When I finish my children's care, I want to go back to Kumamoto.

Recently, I am interested in saving money. If I could save a lot of money, I want to go to the trip abroad with my family. It is my secret dream because I want to surprise them!! 

I have a very happy life.

Essay 3: My treasures

I have to treasures. I will talk about them.

One of  my treasure is the T-shirt that is very usual but it is  the memorial of a camp in last year’s summer vacation. I was a member of the staff. A hundred people in all over Japan participated in that camp. We didn’t have the age limit. And we can gather about eighty people who continue from Hokkaido and Okinawa. We prepared  the same T-shirt of them, and we wore in all time in camp. Day 3, we wrote in own heart’s picture in the board with many color paints, but after having passed time, some people started playing with in colors on their body and T-shirt. Our T-shirt changed from white to colorful. After the camp, we wanted to wash it, but if I did, I would lose that color. So we couldn’t wash and I never wore it again. Now, it is in my room and I display it with a lot of pictures of the camp. I can remember it clearly when I see it.

A Second one is my cloth that bought in intercollegiate tennis tournament in Gifu two years ago. It’s color is purple, and  the tournament name is written in the back. That was my first time to join All-Japan tournament. My pair Sayaki and I could be the third place in Kyusyu, and we got a ticket to join it. She is very good at playing tennis, so I practiced harder before the tournament, but we couldn’t get any wins in the All-Japan tournament. But I was able to have a good experience. Now, I quit tennis team and don’t play tennis often, so the number of time to wear it decreased. A few days ago, I found it in plastic bag that I will throw away. I was very surprised and angry. I asked my mother why she did it!!

My treasures have a lot of memories with my friends and my effort.

Essay 2:My life as a Journey

I’m 21 year old and I am a girl.

My journey was started August in 1994. My parents gave me a very beautiful name “Haruka”. Do you think that my name is common? But I love this name because it the first present for me from them. I was born in Kumamoto, and grew up in there.

My parents are 5 years different in age. They were co-worker before. I live with my parents and my grandfather, and my sister.

My sister born in 1997, she is my best girl and is like my friend. We are close. Our journey is often called “tennis life”

My parents and my sister also play tennis. I started tennis when I was 3 years old, and my sister began it at the same. We usually play tennis together every weekend.

When I was in the 4th grade in elementary school student, I started badminton in school club. I was good at and liked badminton than tennis then. I wanted to continue badminton in junior high school but I couldn’t say my opinion my parents.

I became high school student and my sister was junior high school student, we went to same tennis club and we were often got fight on the court. I was usually the winner, but if you compared my sister and I when we were high school students, everyone say that my sister strong than me.

Now, we aren’t lives with in my home, she goes to Seinanzyosi University in Kiyakyusyu. And I retire about tennis but she continues tennis still now. Our journeys are separated into different lives.

My new journey will start because I’m doing job hunting. I think that now is the most important time in my life. I have a lot of worry about my future journey, but I will do my best for great life.

Esay 1: Letter to my host family

Hello. I am Haruka. Please call me "Haruka". I am a KGU student from the department of English. What's more, I am a member of the tennis team in the University . I have been playing tennis from when I was eight years old and all of my family plays tennis too. I hope that I can play tennis with your family during my home stay days. Please tell me about your hobby.
I am quite nervous because this is my first trip alone futhermore, this is my first visit to a foreigh country.
I am not good at speaking English but I will do my best and study hard. I want to talk a lot with your family, friends and hear your native pronunciation and learn from it. By the way, what is your favorite Japanese food? I will cook what your request because I am good at cooking. I had gone cooking school for two years. Also, I want to learn about traditional American foods too. So, please teach me about how to cook them. I want to study not only English, but also syudy American culture. How many people are in your family? We are a family of five, my parents, grand father and my young sister. My sister is in Kitakyusyu because her University in there. My family is very closed. Every weekend, we always play tennis and eat dinner together, so I want to be like this with your family.
